    The food and service at Cafe Europe Restaurant was top-notch. Making our visit a special challenge for Gabriela and Gerhard, we included this stop as part of tightly scheduled sea-lift; when the restaurant isn't open for lunch. After a 300 km drive from the Cabot Trail, our group of 9 vintage Porsches and 18 discerning eaters needed a great meal to prepare them for the 1:45pm cue and Ferry to PEI as our tour continued. Gerhard worked with us to prepare a special lunch menu for our members. The result was a flawless execution and highly complimented food. Since we were only minutes from the Ferry terminal we treated ourselves to a beer. Stiegel, Gösser and König Ludwig weisse were enjoyed. And they’re delicious.

    Vienna Schnitzel , Cheese Spätzle, Bacon Salad with Chicken strips, Smoked Pork Chops and Oktoberfest Sausages were all delivered promptly so they could be enjoyed in leisure. The desserts couldn’t be resisted in spite of all efforts. Most of the group agreed Café Europe was the best lunch and as good as the best meal on our 8 day trip. A frequent comment was “next time let's stay nearby and have many meals here”. Thanks to our hosts.
